Elf Power: Part of the heralded Elephant 6 collective, the eclectic
Athens, Ga., pop quartet is conducting a noble experiment of sorts,
touring the States with Fable Factory and labelmates the Minders (Oct.
12–22). Elf Power released their second album, A Dream in Sound,
on May 11.

Goldfinger: The Southern California ska-punk quartet is touring
the States with irreverent rock quintet the Bloodhound Gang, rockers
Showoff and L.A. ska-punks the Hippos. Goldfinger are working on their
third album, and will release an EP of covers, Darrin's Coconut Ass
— Live from Omaha, on Nov. 9.

Del Tha Funky Homosapien: "Handsome Boy Modeling School" graduate
Del is touring the States this fall with fellow Hieroglyphics crew member
Casual and hip-hop trio Ugly Duckling. Busy Del recently contributed a
track to the Defenders of the Underworld compilation and vocals
to the Coup's latest release, Steal This Album (1998), as well as
completing his fourth album, Both Sides of the Brain, according
to Hieroglyphics' website (www.hieroglyphics.com).
