Blues Traveler To Discuss Future, Popper Says
Blues Traveler, The Who, Violent Femmes, Dave Stewart, Bono, Wyclef Jean, George Clinton, Joan Osborne, Kris Kristofferson...
Blues Traveler singer John Popper told radio talk-show host
Howard Stern on Wednesday (Sept. 8) that the band would meet Friday to
discuss its future, following the death last month of 31-year-old bassist
Bobby Sheehan. A spokesperson for the band's management company
had no comment on any band meetings, but said there would be an
announcement from the group soon. Before Sheehan's death, the rock band
was planning to record its follow-up to Straight On Till Morning
(1997). Popper released his first solo album, Zygote, last week.
