Everclear singer Art Alexakis did not appear in an Austin, Texas, courtroom Tuesday (Aug. 24) to face assault charges, according to a court spokesperson. The date was rescheduled for Nov. 18. Alexakis allegedly poured a bottle of water on a 17-year-old female fan during an Everclear show at the Austin Music Hall on July 31; touring guitarist Brian Lehfeldt allegedly kicked her in the head. Alexakis faces a fine of no more than $475 in the case, according to an Austin municipal clerk. No court information was available regarding Lehfeldt at press time.
