Rappers Say Feds Sought Info On Master P

Kane and Abel, Master P, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Les Nubians, Sugar Ray, Bruce Springsteen, Henry Rollins, Elvis Presley ...

Identical-twin rappers Kane and Abel claim they were indicted on drug-trafficking charges because they did not provide prosecutors evidence against No Limit label head Master P, according to a motion filed last week in U.S. District Court in New Orleans. The former No Limit MCs (born Daniel and David Garcia) were indicted in May on charges of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute in a federal case linking them to a drug ring run by convicted New Orleans kingpin Richard Pena. Master P (born Percy Miller) has not been charged in the case. Prosecutors could not be reached by press time for comment. Kane and Abel are due in court for a hearing Aug. 30.
