A three-week co-headlining U.S. tour by British pop-rockers the Manic Street Preachers and U.S. rock band Remy Zero has been canceled because Manic Street Preachers singer James Dean Bradfield's mother is ill, according to a spokesperson for Virgin Records, the Manics' label. The Manic Street Preachers are aiming for a rescheduled U.S. tour in September, the spokesperson said. Remy will still play five of the tour's scheduled West Coast dates between July 29 and Aug. 6, according to their official website (www.remyzero.com).
