Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett will perform a millennium show at

the Universal Amphitheater near Los Angeles, according to his official

website, www.margaritaville.com. "Buffett by the Beach" will take place

from 7 p.m. Dec. 31st until dawn the following day. The evening includes

dinner and a performance by the salsa act the Fredy Omar Latin Dance

Band, before Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band take the stage

to bring the crowd into the next century. Seats run from $500 to $1,500.
