Rock and R&B singer/songwriter Me'Shell NdegeOcello will release

a new album, Bitter, following her appearance on 11 East Coast

dates of the Lilith Fair. "Playing the Lilith Fair last year was great

-- having the opportunity to perform with people like Bonnie Raitt

and the Indigo Girls," NdegeOcello said of the fem-fest in a

statement. "The 'heads' are all women, and everyone follows that lead.

There isn't a competitive attitude. We were truly enjoying ourselves."
