Country star Garth Brooks will release In the Life of Chris Gaines, a pop-rock album designed to introduce a character in the upcoming film "The Lamb." Set for a May release, the album -- produced by Don Was (Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop) -- will feature Brooks singing and playing as the character Chris Gaines, according to Scott Stem, vice-president of publicity for Capitol Nashville. The film is currently set for release in the summer of 2000.
