Although they will not perform due to singer Andy Partridge's stage fright, British pop rockers XTC will launch a week-long in-store promotional tour Feb. 23 at Tower Records in New York. The autograph-signing tour for their new album, Apple Venus Vol. 1, will hit stores in Boston (Feb. 24), Chicago (Feb. 25), Toronto (Feb. 27), San Francisco (March 2) and Los Angeles (March 5).
