Modern-metal act Metallica has filed suit against women's lingerie giant Victoria's Secret seeking injunctive relief and damages. The suit alleges that Victoria's Secret used the name Metallica on lip pencils without authorization, according to Jill Pietrini, the band's attorney. The band filed suit in federal court in Los Angeles on Jan. 14. The lip pencils have been on the market since the fall of '98.
