The Minneapolis guitar-pop trio Semisonic will be in Los Angeles on the weekend of Jan. 16 shooting the video for their new single, "Secret Smile," from their most recent album, Feeling Strangely Fine, according to the band's MCA spokeperson. Sophie Muller, whose credits include Hole's "Miss World," No Doubt's "Don't Speak" and the Jesus and Mary Chain's "Sometimes Always," will direct the clip. Semisonic is planning to hit the road in late January for a month-full of dates. Cities and venues for those shows should be announced next week.
