Ted Nugent Celebrates 50th
Guitar-rock god Ted Nugent held his 50th birthday party Thursday at the State Theatre in Detroit, replete with a wild-game dinner featuring delicacies including pheasant pot pie, buffalo sausage and kraut, alligator alfredo, venison mostaccioli and garlic mashed potatoes with raccoon gravy. Nugent performed a short set of trademark tunes, such as "Cat Scratch Fever," and choice covers including "Route 66" and "Johnny B. Goode" before an audience that included Michigan governor John Engler.
