Canadian trip-hop band Bran Van 3000 has mixed a holiday commercial for Gap Kids that features samples of legendary crooner Bing Crosby and vintage vocal group the Andrews Sisters singing "Jingle Bells" over a hip-hop-flavored sonic collage. Other artists doing holiday ads for clothing retailer the Gap include smooth-voiced veteran Johnny Mathis singing "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," modern crooner Rufus Wainwright performing his version of "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" and pop-punk act Everclear tackling "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
