The late Jeff Buckley's mother, Mary Guibert, has announced that original,

commemorative T-shirts from the notoriously merchandise-shy singer/songwriter soon

will be available through the official Buckley website (www.jeffbuckley.com). According

to Guibert, all royalties and proceeds from the direct sales of T-shirts will benefit the

Musicians' Assistance Program and Road Recovery, two anti-substance-abuse nonprofit

organizations. Free posters and postcards also will be available on the site, while

supplies last, for only a shipping charge. Guibert said she also is working on a Buckley

songbook for release sometime in 1999. Buckley drowned in the Mississippi river in

June 1997.
