Virgin Records is trying to secure the rights to release the latest album from Welsh

rock-trio Manic Street Preachers in the U.S., according to a label source. The

album, This is My Truth, Tell Me Yours, was released earlier this year in the U.K.,

where it has sold more than 500,000 copies. The label hopes to release the album in the

first quarter of 1999, the source said.
