Ice T Debuts Porn Site
You can call rapper/actor Ice T a lot of things: controversial,
dirty-minded, foul-mouthed, even offensive, but not pornographer. Until now. T,
who has a long-standing and oft-proclaimed appreciation for the scantily-clad
female form, has joined the legions of on-line smut peddlers by unveiling the
Ice T Web Site (www.icet.com), a collaboration with adult film studio VCA
Pictures and something called Babenet, LTD, to create a full-service (wink,
wink) website that caters to a web-surfing perverts' every need.
Although
when we checked (for research purposes only of course), many of the areas were
still under construction, the site, with a hefty $9.99 daily use fee, promised
diversions like: Interactive live video, ("including sex booths featuring
different nude talent in thematic rooms"), Interactive Live Sex, Strip on
Demand ("where visitors can pick the girl of their dreams in the environment of
their choice"), On-Line Movies, Audio Delights, Erotic Games, Photos and an
Adult Newsstand.
Given T's past proclivity for X-rated raps (including the
self-explanatory song "Strippers" from Body Count's new album Violent
Demise: The Last Days) and the bulging number of smut sites on the Web, the
only real question we had is, "Why hasn't another bootie-obsessed rapper thought
of this first?
As to why T--whose latest controversy involves the
OJ-baiting video to the song "I Used to Love Her," in which he is pelted with a
rain of black gloves--got involved in this sure-to-raise-a-few-eyebrows
venture, a press release says it all. "What sets Ice T's site apart from all
others is his personal involvement in designing and developing the site... Of
course, the site will not only offer adult entertainment, but will feature
plenty of information on Ice T's work and career...
But of course.
