Singer/songwriter Liz Phair has canceled five tour dates -- originally planned for

mid-November and rescheduled for early December -- in Philadelphia (Dec. 3),

Washington, D.C. (Dec. 4), Raleigh, N.C. (Dec. 6), Nashville, Tenn. (Dec. 7), and Atlanta

(Dec. 8). The tour, in support of Phair's third album, whitechocolatespaceegg,

most likely will continue early next year, according to a spokesperson for Phair's Matador

Records label. None of the canceled dates have been rescheduled.
