Reunited Australian rockers the Church are set to embark on their first American tour in eight years, according to their label, Thirsty Ear Records. The tour will follow the release of the band's 11th album, Hologram of Baal.

The psychedelic folk-styled group is scheduled to hit 20 U.S. cities, beginning Sept. 18 in Solana Beach, Calif.

The self-financed album and upcoming tour marks the recent return of guitarist Peter Koppes, who left the band six years ago. The Church -- who also include Marty Willson-Piper, Steve Kilbey and Tim Powles -- are currently in the midst of shooting the video for the first single, "Louisiana."
