They Might Be Giants To Release Live Album
Wacky duo They Might Be Giants will release a live album
entitled Severe Tire Damage on Aug. 11. The 17-track, 56-
minute album will feature two new studio tracks, "Doctor Worm" and
"First Kiss," as well as one previously unreleased song from the
group's Dial-A-Song phone hotline, "About Me." Also slated for
inclusion are the instrumental title theme and a number of hidden
bonus tracks. The full track listing is: "Doctor Worm," "Severe Tire
Damage," "They Got Lost," "Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun Is a
Mass of Incandescent Gas)," "Birdhouse in My Soul," "She's an Angel,"
"XTC vs. Adam Ant," "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)," "Ana Ng," "First
Kiss," "Spider," "Particle Man," "She's Actual Size," "S-E-X-X-Y," "Meet
James Ensor," "Until My Head Falls Off" and "About Me." The album
also will feature a number of brief live instrumental improvisations
with titles inspired by the famous movie series "Planet of the Apes,"
including "Return of the Planet of the Apes," "Conquest of the Planet
of the Apes" and "This Ape's for You."
