Soulja Boy was reportedly arrested this morning (December 15) for a violation of probation after police found a gun in his home.

According to TMZ, police were called to the 26-year-old rapper’s L.A. home after receiving a tip that he had been “threatening people online with guns.” While searching the home, officers found a firearm, a spokesman for the LAPD confirmed to the Los Angeles Times. Soulja is currently on probation stemming from a 2014 arrest for illegally carrying a loaded gun. He took a plea deal in the case that includes 24 months of probation, during which he’s barred from owning a firearm.

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star is also facing a lawsuit over an August Instagram video in which he threatened a man while waving a gun. Indeed, Soulja’s gotten into a bad habit of flaunting his weapons all over social media, so it’s not like he hadn’t given police enough evidence to work with.
