Taylor Swift has emerged from hiding in a place we never expected to find her: on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. With Zayn.

It turns out those photos of Tay hanging with Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik had a bigger secret behind them — Taylor and Zayn were bunking up in the recording studio together and none of us had any idea.

Their new duet, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” which was co-written by Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew, proves their voices actually sound incredible together. Zayn mostly coasts along on his falsetto, reaching up to meet the bottom of Taylor’s range, while Taylor sounds like she never took a hiatus from singing to climb rocks with English actors.

The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack comes out February 10, but “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is available now to keep you warm through the winter.
