The Walking Dead’s Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is ruthless, vindictive, and always demands his way — kinda like Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) from the High School Musical series.

These two would probably never be mentioned in the same sentence if it wasn’t for Twitter user ‏@yeunszain, who noticed that Negan’s posture in a recent TWD pic resembled Sharpay’s from “Stick to the Status Quo” — you know, full of I-will-end-you attitude.

Fans said they were “literally tearing up” at the comparison, and some even flat-out stated that “Negan is the new Sharpay.” A bold claim, but what does Tisdale think of it?

One fan added that Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) standing next to Negan here totally paralleled Ryan Evans next to Sharpay (Lucas Grabeel) — except Ryan has two eyes. (Too soon?)

Shockingly, this isn’t the first time Negan’s been thrown into the High School Musical world. After that tragically epic Season 7 premiere, fans photoshopped him into the “I Don’t Dance” sequence from High School Musical 2. Lucille is to blame, I’m afraid.
