Alessia Cara Takes Her 'Moana' Song To The Beach In New Video

How far will she go? The world may never know.

Alessia Cara doesn’t throw away her shot in the new video for her Moana tune “How Far I’ll Go.” Quite the opposite, in fact — this girl is hella productive in just three short minutes!

The beachy visual finds Cara wandering barefoot on an empty beach and singing the Lin-Manuel Miranda–penned tune inside cool rock caves. Before long, though, she resourcefully crafts a rake out of branches and twigs, then gets to work drawing intricate patterns and swirls in the sand. Basically, she fashions an entire Zen Garden before the song’s even up — what have you done today?!

Sadly, there’s no new Moana footage in the vid, but you won’t even mind once you press play. Cara’s craftiness, coupled with her instantly uplifting jam, are more than enough to hold you over.

Moana tells the story of a spirited Polynesian teen (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) who teams up with the mighty demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) to fulfill an ancient quest. The animated flick’s soundtrack — for which Miranda contributed seven original songs — arrives November 18, and the film sails into theaters on November 23.
