Christina Aguilera Forgot To Finish Her New ‘Telepathy’ Music Video

Ninety-six seconds aren’t enough

Christina Aguilera throws it back to the days of disco in her latest video, “Telepathy.” It’s her first solo vid in four years forever, but before you get too excited, some bad news: It's only 96 seconds long, even though the song itself clocks in at the standard three minutes.

She teamed up with legendary musician Nile Rodgers for the track, which is part of the soundtrack for Netflix’s original show, The Get Down. The series is all about disco and the evolution of hip-hop, so it makes sense the “Telepathy” video takes place in a colorful room complete with a disco ball — even if it’s just for a few seconds.

“I wanted to make a fun video for my fans since ‘Telepathy’ from The Get Down is #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart,” she shared with fans on Facebook.

However, as Entertainment Weekly pointed out, Billboard lists “Telepathy” as peaking at No. 2 on its Dance Club Songs chart. Maybe this sparkly video will get it to Aguilera’s coveted No. 1 spot?
