Little Mix Shut Down The Man-Babies Of The World On ‘You Gotta Not’

With the assistance of Meghan Trainor

The follow-up to Little Mix’s eerily specific call-out track “Shout Out to My Ex” comes with an exciting songwriting credit.

“You Gotta Not” was penned by Meghan Trainor, who’s apparently been channeling her own call-outs through other artists lately.

Trainor must really be sick of boyfriends who don’t pull their weight, because “You Gotta Not” touches on many of the same topics that powered her recent single for Jennifer Lopez, “Ain’t Your Mama.”

The villain in “You Gotta Not” is yet another jobless, gross dude who hates kids and coasts on his mom’s money. “Boy, get a job,” Little Mix sing. “When you want to start growing up / We can boom boom boom, maybe fall in love.”

Trainor and Little Mix clearly share a set of standards.
