Your Parents Officially Know Who Drake Is Thanks To 'Jeopardy!'

But seriously Alex Trebek, WYD

Let October 26 go down in history as the day that a gameshow host had to make a valiant attempt at rapping through a lyric for the sake of trivia, and thus made the nation cringe so hard we could all feel it in the process.

On Wednesday night's Jeopardy!, Alex Trebek was rolling through the Musical Arts category when he got to one on What a Time to Be Alive, the Drake and Future collaborative mixtape from 2015. The inquiry? "This Canadian rapped 'Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, them boys up to somethin', uh uh uh I think I need some Robitussin.'"

It's one thing to read the lyric — it's quite another to listen to Trebek do it.

A casual reminder that this is real life and not a rerun of a Celebrity Jeopardy! sketch, where Sean Connery would be screaming obscenities in a mock turtleneck somewhere as Burt Reynolds draws dirty words on the screen. The audience giggled as if it was, though, and even Trebek had to comment on the awkwardness of the situation, remarking that he left a "Jumpman" out of there by accident.

Who knows? Maybe OVO will get their own Jeopardy! category next time, 'cause weird as it was, Trebek appeared to be feelin' it.
