Finn Wittrock Came Out To Terrorize On 'American Horror Story: Roanoke'

For like 2 seconds

Wednesday night's brutal episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke was packed with skull-bashing, cannibalism, and regret. We lost several characters in "Chapter 7" and saw Evan Peters's remains hoisted up in the trees, but at least we did get to meet a new character, however briefly.

Last week, showrunner Ryan Murphy confirmed that fan favorite Finn Wittrock would be returning for Season 6, and "Chapter 7" gave us our first glimpse of him — except practically the entire internet missed him, not even knowing he was on until "Special Guest Star Finn Wittrock" popped up during the closing credits.

Wittrock's character, one of the real-life Polk boys from the creepy Texas Chainsaw Massacre–esque family of cannibals, is seen in full for just a moment before grabbing the camera from Monet (Angela Bassett). He then films the assault of Lee (Adina Porter), Audrey (Sarah Paulson), and Monet back at the Polk household.

Based on the after-credits teaser for "Chapter 8" and Murphy's assertion that Wittrock is playing the "most fucked-up character of all time," we know this is just the tip of the iceberg for him. Dandy Mott from Freak Show was as warped as they come, but it sounds like Wittrock's Roanoke character will make Dandy look like an angel. And we can't wait.
