'Pretty Little Liars' Has Officially Wrapped — See The Cast’s Emotional Goodbyes

So many tears 💔

After seven nail-biting seasons, Pretty Little Liars is nearing its end. The show’s final 10 episodes don’t hit Freeform until next April, but the cast and crew’s time on set officially came to an end today (October 26), and it was filled with tearful goodbyes.

All of the Liars — Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, and Sasha Pieterse — took to Instagram to bid adieu to their Rosewood counterparts.

Benson posted a smiley selfie with her girls, later adding, "I was so lucky to work with such amazing people who have affected my life greatly. I am so happy to know they will be my family from here on out. I'm sad to say bye to Hanna..... but I'm excited to see what the future holds and I'm so happy to know that all of you will be by my side ❤️"

Bellisario shared an email that her fiancé, Patrick Adams, wrote to Spencer (cue all the tears). “I had no idea how hard this would be,” she commented.

Mitchell, on the other hand, opted for a funnier goodbye post, poking fun at the Liars' constant “deer in the headlights” expressions.

Hale also shared a sweet photo of all five girls, admitting she has “bittersweet feelings” about saying goodbye. She later posted another goodbye to her character, Aria, writing, “You became a huge part of my life and a part of my identity in a way. I'll miss you, your wacky wardrobe, your ability to do anything for love and your friends. Forever in my heart!!”

Last but not least, Pieterse shared a message anticipating all the “happy and sad tears” when the PLL family says goodbye for good.

Showrunner I. Marlene King also reflected on the last day of filming in a lengthy note posted on the show’s Instagram. “To my ‘PLL’ family all over the world, I won’t say good-bye, I’ll say, ‘See you soon, bitches,’” she capped the message, which also includes a small detail about the finale: all five Liars will be in the final scene of the series.

Pretty Little Liars returns to Freeform for its seventh and final season in April 2017. Deadline reported today that a one-hour “tell-all” special will air following the two-hour series finale, which is great news for fans. Lord knows there will still be unanswered questions even after the credits roll — it just wouldn’t be PLL otherwise.
