Kanye West Shares A Touching Throwback Video For Kim Kardashian’s Birthday

Plus, see how Kendall, Kylie, and more of Kim’s family are celebrating her 36th

Kim Kardashian’s 36th birthday today (October 21) feels like a more special occasion than usual. The media maven has kept a low profile since being robbed at gunpoint earlier this month, giving her family, friends, and fans even more reason to cherish and celebrate another year of her life.

And celebrate they did — the Kardashian-Jenner clan flooded social media with well wishes for Kim. Arguably the most emotional tribute came from Kim’s husband, Kanye West, who tweeted a montage of home movies soundtracked by “Only One.” Most of the footage was filmed by Kim’s late father, Robert, who died when she was 23. Earlier in the day, Kris Jenner was one of the first to wish Kim a happy birthday, sharing a collage of pics of Kim as a little girl. "Happy Birthday to my precious Kimberly!” she wrote. “I love and adore you... you have brought so much joy into all of our lives and you are the most wonderful daughter, wife, sister, friend and mom.”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner followed the throwback trend with their own Insta pics. Kendall opted for a snap of teenage Kim posing with her and Kylie as toddlers, captioned with a pair of simple heart emojis. Kylie, meanwhile, chose a pic of Kim beaming inside a car decorated in colorful streamers. “Happy Birthday Kimberly 😇 I love you sister 🎈🎉,” she wrote.

Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian chose a more recent (and slightly more revealing) shot of Kim, writing alongside it, “You’re truly one of the most amazing people I know! I’ve never known someone as special as you!”

Last but not least, Caitlyn Jenner shared a selfie with Kim on her Instagram and a sweet, straightforward message: “Happy birthday Kim! Love you 😘”
