Kanye West Calls Out Artists Ripping Off The Look Of His Saint Pablo Stage

The self-proclaimed ‘rap god’ will have none of this copycat BS

The idea of anyone ripping off the Saint Pablo tour set is kind of baffling given how unique and immediately identifiable it is, but alas, Kanye West saw fit to stress that imitation is definitely not the sincerest form of flattery in his eyes.

At the Edmonton Saint Pablo tour stop, West stopped the music for a brief rant aimed at some select, not-so-creative individuals who may be interested in "copying [his] shit, bro."

"This the original! Accept no imitations! You with the rap GOD right now!" he yelled. Chants of "YEEZY! YEEZY!" filled the arena. "N----s be copying my shit, bro. Stealing our shit, stealing our stages. Copying our shit one-to-one."

But really — is there anyone out there who thinks they can suspend a stage and get away with copying 'Ye's Pablo production without looking like a shameless poser? Because if so, that's straight-up baffling, and definitely enough to incite the wrath of Yeezus.

The Saint Pablo tour was briefly suspended following the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris, but has resumed and wraps on November 1 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
