Chance The Rapper Explains Why Kanye’s Saint Pablo Tour Gave Him ‘Internal Bleeding’

He also gave a much-needed status update on his and ’Ye's rumored joint album

After getting an awesome shoutout at the VMAs from his mentor Kanye West, Chance the Rapper recently returned the support by checking out 'Ye's Saint Pablo tour. Like most who have witnessed the tour's fancy floating stage IRL, Lil Chano thought it was “amazing”... but also in need of a slight technical revamp.

“Man, if 'Ye is listening right now, it’s amazing,” Chance said about the show during a recent interview on L.A.'s Power 106. “You gotta turn the volume down a little bit in that bitch, though. I know that he did it on purpose ’cause he does shit like this on purpose, but, bro, please turn that shit down.

“Literally, my stomach felt like I had, like, internal bleeding because of how much it was shaking and how loud it was,” he continued, before addressing his “Ultralight Beam” and “All We Got” collaborator directly. “So, if you see this, I’m just gonna text you so you don’t see this and get mad later, but turn that shit down!”

Hey, they say our friends are our own toughest critics, right?

Elsewhere in the interview, Chance gave a status update on Good Ass Job, his and Kanye's rumored collaborative album. He confirmed it's still in the works and even has a couple finished songs already, but it sounds like we won't be hearing it anytime soon.

“It’s definitely far from done,” the Coloring Book artist admitted, before explaining why finishing the project is such a dream effort for him.

“The Good Ass Job, that’s something that’s just been a dream for me,” he said. “I’m a Chicago kid, so I’m a super 'Ye fan... I just, I cannot wait to, you know, really just bunker down. To be back in the bunker and be at the spot and have that time to just sit and make stuff everyday is my dream.”

Here's hoping his dream comes true soon.
