Steve From 'Stranger Things' Had A Family Reunion With His Son, Jean-Ralphio

There’s nothing like a family reunion that defies the laws of physics

How does that old saying go? If you want something to happen badly enough, just tweet about it incessantly until you get what you want? Well, it finally pulled through, because Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) from Stranger Things just met his “son,” Jean-Ralphio Saperstein (Ben Schwartz) from Parks and Recreation. While most fans were concerned about Barb’s fate and wondered where TF Eleven went, others desperately wanted to know if Steve grew up to father Jean-Ralphio.

Back in August, Schwartz addressed the theory in a funny short video for The Late Late Show, and basically said he was on board with it. The theory became canon soon after when Stranger Things cocreator Matt Duffer told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s hilarious and it’s obviously true,” also adding, “I’ll confirm that.” Up until then, however, father and son had yet to meet.

Thankfully, that changed Tuesday (September 20), when Schwartz tweeted out a couple of hilarious pics of the duo in matching outfits. Dreams do come true!

Schwartz also shared a short video, teasing fans about their "family reunion."

One fan urged Schwartz and Keery to “face swap on Snapchat” and I want to know where to sign the petition to make this happen STAT.
