Kanye West Responds To Kid Cudi’s Subtweets: ‘I Birthed You’

Drake also acknowledged Cudi’s recent tweet storm

On Wednesday (September 14), Kid Cudi launched some pointed tweets into the world, calling out "the fake ones" and declaring that "the days of the fuckery are over." He even named exactly two names: 'Ye and Drake.

Both Kanye West and Drake played concerts last night, and both took some time out of their performances to address Cudi's tweet storm.

Speaking from the stage of the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, Drake had a short and sweet response: "You getting way too high. You need to cud-it," he said. "Real talk."

Kanye, unsurprisingly, was more loquacious. In the middle of performing Chief Keef's "I Don't Like" in Tampa, Florida, the rapper stopped the music to put Cudi on blast. "Kid Cudi, don't ever mention 'Ye name," he said. "I birthed you."

He went on, becoming more incensed. "We all dealing with that emo shit all the time. Don't ever mention 'Ye name. Don't try to say who I can do songs with," he said. "You mad 'cause I'm doing songs with Drake. Ain't nobody telling 'Ye who to do songs with. Respect the God!"

And he didn't stop there: "You know how many people wish they could be signed to G.O.O.D. Music, get they life changed? Have that opportunity? Never forget that. I'm so hurt. I feel so disrespected. Kid Cudi, we're two black men in a racist world," West continued. "I got called names before you, bruh. Why y'all got to come at me? ... I'm out here fighting for y'all: creatives, artists, independent thinkers. Don’t never mention my name in a bad manner. None of y’all!”

R.I.P. Kid Cudi. Cause of death: Kanye rant.
