Tove Lo And Wiz Khalifa’s New Song ‘Influence’ Will Give You Lady Wood

If you like ‘Cool Girl,’ you'll love ‘Influence’

It’s been three years since “Habits” debuted, but Tove Lo’s still gotta stay high in her new song “Influence.” It’s the second preview of her upcoming sophomore record, Lady Wood, due out October 28.

“It’s a blur, but I want my way / You know I’m under the influence / So don’t trust every word I say,” Tove Lo croons in the chorus, which sounds just as enticing as her lead single, “Cool Girl.”

Wiz Khalifa steps in for the third verse, rapping and chuckling through the song’s final 30 seconds. It’s the perfect complement to Tove Lo’s smooth vocals, which go down as easy as a glass of wine. You know, for when you want to be “under the influence” and all.

Of course, alcohol isn’t the only substance that’ll take you out of this world. Allow Tove Lo and Wiz to demonstrate one of their leisurely hobbies in this teaser video.

Perhaps a smoky music video is in the works for “Influence.”
