Drake Is Opening A ‘Classy’ Strip Club In Houston

And it already has an A+ tagline: ‘Treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself’

Over the weekend, Drake, in all his newly tatted bliss, announced he’d follow up his Summer Sixteen tour stop in Houston with a mysterious event called “The Ballet.” Billed as a “new dance experience,” Drizzy offered little in the way of an explanation, but all was finally revealed last night (September 5) at a pop-up event for his new strip club venture.

Oh wait ... our mistake. It seems The Ballet — despite featuring bikini-clad women dancing under showers of raining dollar bills — is apparently not a strip club. It’s a “classy” dance club with a strict “business attire” dress code and an emphasis on H-town culture. Allow Drake to explain:

“There’s a culture out there of dancing and it’s not about no strip club shit,” he explained in a video from last night’s event. “It’s about these amazing women that we’ve got in one spot, this music that we’ve got, this Houston culture that we’ve got. I just wanna let you know that I’m going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible.”

The deceptively titled club will open up in Houston early next year, and Drake promises it’ll take a page from Jada Pinkett Smith’s Magic Mike XXL establishment by putting women “on a pedestal.”

“Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston,” Drake wrote on Instagram after last night’s event. “Treat yourself don't cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017. 😇”

What a time to be alive, indeed.
