Lil Wayne Shows ‘No Mercy’ On His Theme Song For Fox Sports’s 'Undisputed'

‘Let’s go face to face’

History has shown us that amazing things happen when you combine Lil Wayne and sports. Earlier this year, he dropped a sick Cleveland Cavaliers tribute song, “Off Off Off.” His Drake collab “Right About It” plays during the opening credits of HBO’s series Ballers. He once freestyled over the iconic SportsCenter theme music. And now he has another sports-related project to add to his resume: the theme song for a new talk show.

Weezy was tapped to lay down some bars for Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed with Skip and Shannon, an upcoming talk show starring former ESPN personality Skip Bayless and NFL Hall-of-Famer Shannon Sharpe. According to Billboard, who debuted the clip, the network wanted an “edgy theme song,” and Wayne delivers with the kinetic “No Mercy,” produced and written by Jingle Punks' president and CCO Jared Gutstadt. “Let’s go face to face / I embrace debate / I don’t make mistakes / I just make my case,” he raps over a bonkers beat, announcing/threatening that he’s always in his zone.

A full version of “No Mercy” will reportedly hit iTunes next month, but you can hear a preview of it below. Weezy is also expected to appear on the debut episode of Undisputed, which airs September 6.
