Rihanna And Anne Hathaway Join Sandra Bullock’s All-Female 'Ocean’s Eleven' Reboot

Shut up and drive me to the theater

When a female-centric reboot of Ocean's Eleven starring Sandra Bullock was announced last year, a dream we didn't even know we had came true. Now, it looks like Ocean has found her eleven — er, eight.

According to Deadline, casting for the female-led heist movie, titled Ocean's 8, is currently in the final stages with Anne Hathaway, Rihanna (!), Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina close to inking deals. Basically, all of your favorite people are starring in your new favorite movie.

And they haven't even finished casting the movie yet! So those Jennifer Lawrence rumors might still pan out. (Not that our hearts would even be able to take more of this brazen feminist awesomeness.)

Earlier this summer, director Gary Ross confirmed that Ocean's 8 is a continuation of the tone Steven Soderbergh established with his highly entertaining Ocean's remake trilogy. Screenwriter Olivia Milch (Little Women) is currently penning the screenplay, with production reportedly looking to start by the end of the year.

Between her casting in Luc Besson's sci-fi adventure Valerian and her upcoming stint on Bates Motel, Rihanna's EGOT era is upon us.
