Since Game of Thrones’s seventh season isn’t expected to return until summer 2017 — and it looks like the Apocalypse will have come and gone by the time George R.R. Martin ever finishes The Winds of Winter — we need outlets for our GoT fix. Thankfully, the show’s two creators and several of the cast stopped by Conan recently to chat about the Twitter hate Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) received after Kristian Nairn’s (Hodor) tragic death on "The Door."

Since time-traveling Bran was the reason Wyllis became Hodor, thanks to a time bridge/ripple effect, some fans blamed the crippled Stark for the beloved character’s demise. Of course, Meera’s desperate pleas for Hodor to “hold the door” also affected this whole situation, but details, details.

“Did you interpret it that it was [Bran’s] fault?” host O'Brien asks Nairn. “Well ...,” Nairn starts, adding a hilariously long pause, then goes on to joke how Nairn himself is “terribly bitter towards him.” The actor and DJ then clarifies how Hodor probably doesn’t blame Bran for his fate — to which Hempstead-Wright then gives his bestie a sweet hug.

Though Nairn obviously isn’t returning for Season 7, he lives near where they’re filming, so he’ll “be torturing [the cast] for dinner.” We expect plenty of photos of these dinner/hang out sessions, Kristian. Hint, hint.
