This 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' Reunion Is All Kinds Of Weird

Kirk Fogg and Olmec meet up at San Diego Comic-Con

Temple guards, red jaguars, giant talking stone heads — oh my! Legends of the Hidden Temple is gearing up for its TV movie reboot airing this fall. Coming back for more fun are stars Kirk Fogg, who hosted the ’90s Nickelodeon game show, and Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced Olmec. [Note: MTV News and Nickelodeon are both owned by Viacom.]

During the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Fogg and Baker reunited with Legends executive producer Scott Stone, who also helped create the game show. The movie/game show squad will have their own panel on Saturday (July 23) at the Nickelodeon booth.

It’s bizarre to see Olmec in the (literal) flesh, instead of sporting red, glowing eyes and a sassy attitude. Fogg standing near Olmec-but-not-really-Olmec is just pretty unsettling, TBH. Almost as unsettling as having a temple guard jump out at you when all you’re trying to do is solve the Shrine of the Silver Monkey and get the hell outta there. I mean, as a 24-year-old, I know Olmec isn’t actually a real, live talking stone head, but my inner child is having trouble processing that fact.
