It’s been a hot minute (read: about 15 months) since this news broke, so let me remind you: Anna Kendrick has a book coming out! Huzzah!

The 30-year-old actress was tapped by Touchstone Publishing last year to write a collection of autobiographical essays, and now we finally have our first taste of it. On Tuesday, Kendrick took to Twitter (her fave outlet for witty commentary) to debut the cover of her book, titled Scrappy Little Nobody.

And because she is truly a benevolent woman, Kendrick also went ahead and revealed an excerpt from the book. In it, she hilariously reflects about what it’s like to do photo shoots, which apparently hurt her “tiny feelings” because she’s worried about being compared to a legit supermodel like Kendall Jenner. “No one should be compared to Kendall Jenner,” she writes. “It’s cruel and unusual.” Word, Anna. Word.

Scrappy Little Nobody marks the first literary venture for Kendrick. It arrives November 15 and promises to “offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she’s experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture,” according to the official synopsis. In other words, it’s sure to be a must-read.
