Gucci Mane Comes Clean About Drug Use On His New Album's Intro

His ‘Everybody Looking’ album drops next week

It's been less than two months since Gucci Mane was released from prison, and his work ethic has been relentless. He's dropped multiple music videos, featured on Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music's new single, shot a spot with Supreme, and his new album, Everybody Looking, is out on July 22.

A week ahead of that, we get the intro to the project, called "No Sleep (Intro)." On it, Guwop addresses the mentality that's at the heart of his relentlessness. "I can't even sleep, I got so much to say," he raps on the hook.

In between getting locked up three years ago and released, Gucci transformed himself physically, morphing into a slim and muscular version of his previous self. Some of that may be from the lifestyle change he was forced to undergo behind bars. On the hook, he continues: "Recovering drug addict, I used to drink a pint a day / I can't even sleep, I got so much to say / Recovering drug addict, I used to smoke a pound a day."

Here's hoping that recovery stays on track.
