It's been three years since actor Cory Monteith died, but his William McKinley High School classmates haven't forgotten their quarterback. The Glee cast shared memories — both the serious and the silly — on Wednesday, the third anniversary of his sudden death in 2013.

"We may not have gotten to share a lifetime together, but the memories, they're the best of my life," Lea Michele, Monteith's costar and longtime girlfriend, wrote on Instagram. "Love you Cory."

Matthew Morrison also shared a few words for his "brother."

"The time may pass but the warmth of your generous soul and the humility in your goofball nature will never fade," Jenna Ushkowitz added.
