Meghan Trainor Stopped Fangirling Long Enough To Sing With The Backstreet Boys

The Thank You singer called Brian Littrell her ‘pop star crush’

It's '90s week on ABC's Greatest Hits, and there's nothing more '90s than the Backstreet Boys. (Except maybe NSYNC, but I digress.) On Thursday night's episode, the band took the stage to perform two iconic hits: "Everybody" and "I Want It That Way." Meghan Trainor joined them for the latter, and it's hopefully not the last collaboration we'll get from them.

"The first band that I loved was The Backstreet Boys," Trainor revealed in a behind-the-scenes video. "My pop star crush was Brian [Littrell]. I was gonna marry him and my mom was gonna marry him. That was our husband. The day he got married, I remember we were like, ‘Nooo!’"

Watch their performance below. Fun fact: Trainor, now 22, was only 5 years young when "I Want It That Way" peaked.

"Singing with The Backstreet Boys is definitely a bucket-list moment," Trainor said. Admit it — it's totally on your bucket list too, and you're kind of jealous now.
