The song continues her streak of sexually charged summer jams, following the controversial “Cool for the Summer” (where she sings about experimenting with another girl) exactly one year later.

“Body Say” sees Lovato telling her partner exactly what she (and her body) wants — no hints, no suggestions, no fooling around.

According to a recent tweet, Lovato wrote the new tune just a few weeks ago. She couldn’t wait for her fans to hear it, so she put it out as soon as it was done.

Now that summer’s in full swing, her return is right on time.
