Season 6 of Game of Thrones brought Sansa Stark to the forefront. She escaped an abusive marriage, made her first kill, and took back Winterfell for her family. Her intelligence and powerful Stark surname make her an ideal leader of the North.

The only problem? Sunday night's (June 26) "The Winds of Winter" finale established Jon Snow — "a bastard born in the South," as Littlefinger oh-so-delicately put it — as the King of the North. Talk about sibling cousin rivalry.

"I think Sansa trusts Jon to make morally right decisions, but I'm not sure if she trusts him with the kind of political things," Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa, told The Hollywood Reporter. "I think it's more about being open with each other, like with Sansa writing to Littlefinger for the Knights of the Vale. I think Jon means they need to be more open with each other and tell each other what's going on — and it's very frustrating for Sansa to hear him say that. She knows he means it more about her than it is him talking about himself. And he really needs to trust her."

Sansa proved her expertise in the penultimate "Battle of the Bastards" episode, where she literally "saved his [Jon's] ass."

"He's getting all of the credit," Turner said about Jon and his painfully obvious rubber sword, pictured in the GIF above. "Obviously he played a huge part in the Battle of the Bastards, but Sansa really saved him. There's a bit of jealousy there."

Come Season 7, this jealousy could cause some major friction. Of course, neither of them know what brother Bran does: Jon isn't actually Ned Stark's bastard son, but his nephew. Turner hopes this big reveal will "heal the relationship" between the two characters.

"She's [Sansa's] always taken her mother's view of how Jon entered the family," Turner explained. "I think finding out that her father did not cheat on Catelyn and had an illegitimate child would probably build a few bridges rather than burn them."

This is good news for the entire Stark family. Because when their inevitable face-off against Daenerys or Cersei comes, they'll need to stand strong together if they want to survive.
