Chris Brown's Former Manager Claims The Singer Assaulted Him

See Brown's response to the allegations and lawsuit

Chris Brown and his former manager could have a big legal battle ahead of them.

According to TMZ, Brown's former manager, Michael M. Guirguis (known as Mike G), is suing the singer, claiming he assaulted him last month. The suit alleges that, unprovoked, Brown took Mike G in a room and gave him a beating that resulted in a trip to the ER.

"We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown," Patty Glaser, the manager's lawyer, told TMZ. "Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy."

After news of the lawsuit became public, Breezy responded with a video on Instagram.

"N---as is getting mad and filing lawsuits because I fired them for stealing money," Brown says in the vid. "You're stealing money pal. So you're mad because you're no longer existing."

The two reportedly began working together in 2012.
