Schoolboy Q Can’t Outrun The Law In 'Blank Face' Album Trailer

Hear snippets of new music in the dramatic clip

Schoolboy Q’s hotly anticipated sophomore album, Blank Face, won’t feature a Crying Jordan meme on its cover. That much we know. It will, however, have some (predictably great) new music to soundtrack your summer -- something Q’s reminded us with a cinematic album trailer.

Co-directed by Jack Begert and Kendrick Lamar’s directing team The Lil Homies, the video begins by showing us the typical daytime scene in Q’s L.A. neighborhood. The pace quickens and the plot thickens, however, when Q and his boys try to outrun the cops. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work -- we soon see the TDE rapper locked up in a jail cell and looking none too pleased about it.
