Kelly Clarkson Is Announcing Her New Project In The Most Adorable Way

Watch her cover four songs in four days

Kelly Clarkson is back to wow you with her incredible voice and endless positivity. The OG American Idol star is making a huge announcement this Friday, June 24 -- her "coolest" one yet -- and to build up to it, she's treating fans to a (Facebook) live performance every day this week.

"I haven't sang in a while because I was on vocal rest, which sucks," Clarkson said in Monday's video, which is 80 percent adorable rambling and 20 percent a cover of Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine," which you may remember from Dirty Dancing. "So if I get carried away and do all my white girl runs, I'm sorry, I'm just excited to sing."

On Tuesday morning, she covered Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is" and answered fan questions. Two more songs are coming up on Wednesday and Thursday, adding up to four covers total before the big reveal on Friday.

Her only hint? "I picked these four songs because these four artists that did these songs have something in common."

Fortunately, her pianist Jason Halbert has some better hints. During her Facebook Live videos, he held up signs behind her back telling fans what the announcement is NOT — not a tour, not a third pregnancy, not a sequel to 2003's From Justin to Kelly.

So could it be a new album? Let's keep our fingers crossed!
