The New 'Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children' Trailer Brings Nightmares To Life

Wights, hollowgasts, and bombs, oh my

While we're only three months away from the premiere of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, it feels like we're stuck in a time loop, waiting for September 30. Thankfully, a new trailer dropped on Monday (June 20) that gives us a closer look at Emma Bloom's (Ella Purnell) peculiarity — her fire powers in the book were swapped for Olive's (Lauren McCrostie) floating abilities.

We also get a better sense of Samuel L. Jackson's character, Barron, who is definitely not a nice guy. "I assure you, we are coming," Jackson threateningly tells Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield). Combine his words with his freaky white eyes, and we're sleeping with the lights on tonight. Nope nope nope.
