Whatever You Do, Do Not Film Adele While She’s Performing

The 'Hello' singer reamed a woman who set up a tripod at her concert

If you’re going to an Adele concert, leave the camcorder at home — or risk facing the singer’s wrath.

That was the lesson one fan learned the hard way on Sunday (May 29) when Adele called her out from the stage of her concert in Verona, Italy.

“I’m really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life. Could you take your tripod down?” Adele said. "This isn’t a DVD. This is a real show. I’d really like you to enjoy my show, because lots of people outside there couldn’t come in."

From sealing engagements to photobombing selfies, Adele usually keeps the mood pretty positive at her live shows. But she draws the line at fans who set up video cameras in front of the stage. (Who even still owns a video camera in 2016?)
